The
interior of Telkom NNMC is a highly evolved security and technical
environment. A video wall is positioned within the building and an
armourplated toughened glass wall screens off this installation. The
glass is cantilevered at an angle and curved to run in-line with the
wall offering an interesting perspective. It is 6,5m high and almost
100m long. On the exterior, the curtain wall and fixing system enclosing the entrance foyer of the building were designed and installed by Edelweiss Glass and Aluminium. The curtain wall is an Antellio Green tinted glass which offers a contemporary feel to the exteriors and the tinted glass panels are supported by castilated I-beams. Glazing in the remainder of the building includes rooflights, doors and windows.  |
